MIB Studios & MGTV Production Updates
UPDATE 2/08/2010 North Dakota to California and Still There:
Working on setting up our new Primetime TV Series in CA is going well so we decided to stay here and continue working on the project. We had two options to get this program sponsored and thus far the best possible one seems possible i.e. having one or two major sponsor/s vs 40 small ones.
As you can imagine, creating, producing and then getting a new TV series on the air (especially primetime and on major channels) is not an easy task. It takes a monumental amount of skill, effort and yes, funding, and everything single part of the entire project must work perfectly everytime to take a new show from creation into reality.
Thus far everything has worked very well and with some more real hard work and a bit of luck it will continue to move in a positive direction. Check back for updates on our Southern CA and national productions.
UPDATE 1/25/2010 North Dakota to California and back.
I will not be able to promptly answer questions RE: FREE Consultations for the following reason.
We're leaving North Dakota flying back to California for a week of meetings and contract's to produce a new TV series. We have negotiated to air it weekly from San Diego to Santa Barbara CA prime-time (7 PM in most markets) and on major channels (2-13).
Sadly we have to drive 4 hours just to get to the air port in ND. There are travel advisories statewide with wind gusts up to 40 MPH causing snow drifting, white outs, ice, road closures and yes, flight cancelations. Barring any unforseen circumstances, we will make it to the air port and fly out tomorrow when conditions are (a bit) better.
This is a 5,000 mile round trip (air & ground) that we are making because our new Prime-time TV series is not only exciting but it is also very much needed in our current national economic situation. It is one thing to save jobs but even better to create some new ones when you can. That is one result we will target with this new TV series and I am 110% positive that we will achieve that goal.
Our primary goal is to educate and inspire people to be safer and better prepared for emergency situations and/or disasters on land and at sea.
Every citizen that is motivated to become prepared, safer and more independent makes our entire nation safer and more independent. That is real national security!
That will also directly increase the safety of my family AND YOURS !
When you are "properly" prepared you will obtain the maximum peace of mind possible !
I am available for free consultations and fee based seminars about boating safety and/or disaster preparedness and survival (on land and/or at sea).
I am no longer available to do presentations on "How to create, produce and get your TV shows aired on local or national TV" for the following reasons:
1. Even though this is my most popular presentation, I no longer have the time.
2. It is not nearly as important to me as Boating Safety or Disaster Preparedness.
Current MIB Studio Productions:
1. Our Network TV (national) project is a 2 hour Network TV Special which may be followed up with a new national weekly TV series TBA. We have to build a 53 foot totally custom sailboat (and other complex props) for this production which should be ready for launch in the spring of 2011. The TV special will be schueduled to air on Network TV immediately after the launch of the show's custom built prototype "yacht of the future" (that can be built now thanks to new technology available today).
2. Our current CA production is an entertaining and informational weekly boating TV series that features both power and sailing yachts. It is currently schueduled to either start airing in March or in April at the latest of 2010 (in Southern California from San Diego to Santa Barbara CA) .
We have already green-lighted this project and it will have its own website that is professionally built and maintained vs using this one which is my personal "public service" and current productions "information and updates" website.
We have already negotiated several TV broadcast contracts (and I am still negotiating more) to air this new TV series prime-time (at or around 7 PM in many markets) and on major channels (2 - 13). We are very fortunate to have several options to pick from or combine.
There has already been some interest at TV stations about wanting to syndicate this new TV series on their channels if the pilot runs produce the results we expect they will. That would give us more money to put into the production and perhaps even expand it to a one hour series. Even without syndication this new production will do extremely well. We are obviously totally convinced of that or we would not have green-lighted it nor put so much of our time and money into it as we have thus far.
We will be traveling about 5,000 miles roundtrip to San Diego CA soon to spend a week meeting with sponsors as well as TV station & studio executives. Due to my extremely busy scedule during that week I will not be as available to answer emails or requests via this website but I will check them and respond as soon as possible.
Be safe on the water and become prepared for disasters on land and/or at sea!
THANK YOU for your interest and for viewing the MIB Studios website !
